Driving post-punk rhythms under catchy and atmospheric songs. The bouncy warbling bass lines are provided by Max Nordile, propulsive drum beats by Brian Tester, and chiming guitar/melodic vox by Jen Weisberg. (Brian and Max added some great additional sounds on here too). Reminiscent of that early Rough Trade sound (Raincoats, Liliput, Au Pairs), early Grass Widow (fitting as Brian and Jen played with Lillian for her project Ruby Pins), and the well-established post-punk sound of Oakland past 2010. Recorded by Zachary James Watkins (my Intro to Electronic Music professor at UC Santa Cruz) at Santo Recording in Oakland.
